Changing web hosting plans
For the two years I’ve been blogging, I have used BlueHost. The product was recommended to me by a fellow blogger who commented on my blog. I posted a thread asking for advice on web hosting plans. Blue Host received the majority of the comments. I know bloggers’ motives were to get me to use their code to save on web hosting, but it seemed legitimate.
It is not that I have had problems with them, but after registering over 50 domains, it gets to be difficult to manage and transfer. Since I use GoDaddy for my registrar, I decided it is just easier to have all my blogs in one central location. I do have to say that Blue Host’s customer service was not helpful. They deflected any questions and just wanted to get off the phone. Whereas, GoDaddy assisted me and walked me through changing all my domains to their web hosting plan. It was definitely worthwhile, and I did so with a hosting code for GoDaddy. They set me up with 2 year package, so I do not have to worry about expirations or renewals for two years. Should give me enough time to decide what to do next.
