Long Arm Quilting: Marvellous Information
Quilting means sewing together 3 pieces of cloth to tailor a decorative or a useful product. The layers mentioned are namely the top fabric, enclosed insulating material and the bottom cover fabric. Most popular means of quilting carried out presently are the traditional hand and machine quilting.
The basic requirements of a hand made quilt are a needle, thread and a quilting frame to hold the fabric layers. In machine quilting, a sewing machine is used to tack stitch or pin the quilt fabric on either ends. Compared to hand quilting longarm quilting machines provided the quilter with faster and better yields. My next post will be about, long arm quilting.
