A Christchurch wedding venue in the sun
The bride was firm — she wanted an outdoor setting for her wedding. There was a Christchurch wedding venue just around the corner from where we live and my wife suggested it to our daughter. We went one day and had a look. Certainly, it seemed, it would be perfect on a sunny day. If the weather turned to rain there were rooms in the house and some garages in the gardens that could be turned into reception areas. They would not be as good a venue in the wet, but it would be workable. So we took a gamble and booked the venue. It worked! The wedding day was fine and the bride was the happiest girl in Christchurch!
