Meaning and Various Forms of Entertainment
The term “entertainment” as it is defined in the MSN Encarta dictionary is the “various ways of amusing people, especially by performing for them.” However, not all acts that give you with amusement can be called as entertainment. Activities like playing your favorite sports and adventures and literature reading are frequently included in entertainment but these activities are more appropriate to be named as recreation.
There are many ways to be entertained and amused. Such forms are as follows: movies, themeparks , comedy, dance, games and musicand many more. Other well known and common forms and acts of entertainment are as follows: broadway theatre, leisure, radio, television and magic.
