The Sound of the Milstein Violin
Nathan Milstein was a phenomenal violinist. Apart from being considered one of the greatest violinists who ever lived, he is also remembered by the ones who knew him as one of the nicest and most charismatic characters. As a friend colleague once said “you could not not love him! He was perfect.” In a recent documentary the Milstein violin has a chance to emerge once again although he has left us years ago. It is thanks to that magnificent documentary film, that Milstein could be remembered and his gift preserved for future generations. In fact he was a very humble man and despite his success as a soloist, he always avoided publicity. Now thanks to that film, we are able to experience his gift and enjoy his playing.
